Audio Producer

 

Reporting to Director of Production, the role of the Audio Producer is to deliver audio projects and facilities work in time, on budget and to the desired quality.

 

We are a small company, and as such you will have a lot of responsibility, and will play a critical part in keeping our current clients happy and winning new ones.

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

Project Management

  • Manage projects from client brief to client sign-off (budgets, talent booking, scheduling, pre-production, production, testing, delivery).

 

Audio and Video Production

Taking audio projects from conception to final product.  This includes:

  • script-writing and /or script review

  • auditioning/casting

  • audio pre and post-production (selecting sound effects and music, preparing scripts etc)

  • music production and post production

  • directing audio recordings

  • manage the edit and client review process.

Quality Assurance

  • Test audio CDs, DVDs, videos and other deliverables for 100% accuracy

  • Liaise with external testers
     

Dispatch and Delivery

  • Manage the preparation (mastering and labelling) and despatch of deliverables to clients on time

  • Manage FTP server content where required.

 

Essential Requirements

 

  • Excellent communicator, written and spoken

  • Fastidious organiser

  • Unflusterable multi-tasker

  • Happy to work within a defined system with standard processes; and to contribute to process development where appropriate

  • Very positive outlook, and authentic approach

  • Business orientated

  • Familiar with Apple and Adobe production software, Microsoft Office

  • Experience in multi-media production
